The ancient Chinese recognised something many of us have forgotten: we don't exist separately from our environment.
By observing the relationship between people and the natural world, they discovered that when our surroundings are in harmony, we're better able to thrive. This is the foundation of feng shui.
In Chinese philosophy, feng shui is known as Earth Luck (地运 Dì Yùn) - the influence your environment has on your life.
While most manifestation teachings focus on your personal energy, feng shui focuses on the energy around you. When these work together, you create the conditions for abundance to flourish.

I know that feeling because I've lived it.
After my contract at a prestigious university wasn't renewed, I found myself feeling lost and unsettled.
At the same time, my boyfriend (now husband) and I had just bought our first home together. We were planning a future - marriage, children, building a new kind of life together - so I knew this home needed to support us through all these big changes.
What started as curiosity quickly became an obsession. But the deeper I went, the more frustrated I became by the conflicting advice, lucky charms, and superficial tips that made zero sense.
I wanted the truth. The real techniques. Authentic feng shui.
So I studied to become a Classical Feng Shui Consultant.
At the same time, I was devouring everything I could about energy, manifestation and the deeper universal forces that shape our lives (yes, this was my period of spiritual awakening).
Like so many people, I was doing the vision boards, repeating affirmations, visualising my dream life and trying to stay positive.
But nothing really seemed to be shifting.
Then I realised something that stopped me in my tracks.
Despite everything I was learning about manifestation, almost nobody was talking about the influence of our environment. Yet through feng shui, I was discovering just how powerful it could be.
And when I started to actually apply it...

As I began applying feng shui principles, I noticed shifts finally happening.
Things started to fall into place with ease.
Ideas and possibilities started flowing in.
The right people appeared at the right time.
Wild opportunities seemed to arrive out of nowhere.
And within a few short years, my life had completely changed.
Everything I once desired became my reality. It was as though I'd jumped into a whole, new, abundant timeline.
I went from simply wanting to create a supportive home, to manifesting an abundant life that I truly loved.
Feng shui says your front door is where opportunities enter your home and your life, and I can wholeheartedly confirm.
I'd always dreamt of building my dream home, but I had no idea how we would ever make it happen. Then, shortly after applying feng shui to my home, an unexpected knock at the door changed everything.
A stranger presented an opportunity to sell a small apartment I owned to a developer as part of a collective sale. Trusting my intuition, I said yes and quietly wrote down the number I wanted the deal to close at - an amount that felt incredible, but also just out of reach.
I still remember the shock I felt, seeing the final offer come through at exactly that amount less than two weeks later.
It completely changed the way I saw the relationship between our homes, our energy and the opportunities that flow into our lives.
